HOW NOT TO TALK ABOUT TRANS PEOPLE

Live Archive of Responses against Anti Trans Rhetoric in India

This archive consists of the various critical, informal, formal, affective, visceral engagement with the book "Invisible Men" on transmasculinity and transmen in India. This is in spirit of providing counter-narratives and engaging with texts that tend to create hegemony of ideas that are counterproductive and violent. Although directed towards one text, we hope to incorporate, in the future, responses to similar problematic works as well.

WHY DO WE NEED THIS ARCHIVE?

This archive intends to collate all the engagements with texts that call themselves progressive and trans-inclusive while they repeat the violence against trans persons through misrepresentation and mistranslation of trans lives. This archive though currently collating texts against the book Invisible Men, aims to grow further to talk about anti-trans rhetoric in India.
